Funeral services for Mrs. Harold (Jean) Pace, 66, Muscatine were held July 1 at the Rochester Methodist church with the Rev. Dale Ellsworth officiating. Burial was in the Rochester cemetery.

Pallbearers were Milton Bargstadt, Dalford Barrick, Harold Hetzler, Donald Anderson, Albert Strefling and Leonard Voss. Honorary pallbearers were Don Tague, Richard Anderson, Harold Pace, Jr., David Pace and Harlan Pace. Mrs. Donald Stiff was organist and vocalists were Mrs. Donald Lindle and Mrs. Ralph Sywassink. Mrs. Dalford Barrick, Mrs. Dorothy Voss, Mrs. Milton Bargstadt and Mrs. Harold Hetzler were in charge of flowers.

Mrs. Pace died June 27 at Muscatine General hospital.

The daughter of Stuart Arthur and Mary Ann Phelps, she was born Feb. 14, 1909 at Springdale and was educated in the Springdale schools, graduating in 1926. She was married to Elvin Stiff in 1928 and he preceded her in death. She married Harold Pace, sr., Jan. 12, 1964 in Rochester. She had lived in the Muscatine area for 14 years. She was a member of the White Shrine, Iowa City, Sweetland Grange No. 2209, the Farm Bureau Homemakers, Sweetland Methodist Church, Sweetland and the United Methodist Women.

She is survived by her husband, Harold; 2 daughters, Mrs. Don (D.J.) Tague, Goren, Mo. and Mrs. Richard (Carol) Anderson, Tipton; 3 step-sons, Harold Pace, Jr. and Harland Pace, Muscatine and David Pace, St. Paul, Minn.; 12 grandchildren; a brother, John W. Phelps, Iowa City and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant son and a brother, Leonard.
