Funeral services for Russell W. Hoskinson, 58, Tipton, were held at Sheets and Son Funeral home May 31 with Dr. Glenn Parrott officiating. Burial was in Memory Gardens, Iowa City.

Pallbearers were Dennis Werling, David Gibb, Terry Bowman, Dan Bowman, Ronald Gilson and Frank Danehy. Mrs. Kenneth Gould was organist.

Mr. Hoskinson died May 29 at Mercy hospital following a brief illness.

The son of Perry W. and Harriett M. Madden Hoskinson, he was born in Grand Junction Aug. 17, 1916 and was educated in the Tiffin schools. He married Nadine M. Cox, Nov. 13, 1938 in Iowa City. He was a Tipton resident for over 20 years and owned and operated the Modern Cleaners. He was a member of Moose Lodge #730 in Tipton.

He is survived by his wife, Nadine; 5 sisters, Mrs. Joe (Thora) Cox, Grinnell; Mrs. Edward (Evelyn) Kadlec, Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Dean (Dorothy) Bowman, Iowa City; Mrs. Edward (Naomi) Fairchild, Coralville and Mrs. Opal Danehy, Waterloo; a brother, Lloyd, Iowa City and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
