Funeral services for Mrs. John (Vaneta E.) Hansen, 68, were held at Peace Church of Christ United, Bennett, May 23, with the Rev. Dennis Lamont officiating. Burial was in the Durant cemetery.

Pallbearers were Lennis, Ronald, Dennis and Harold Weih, James Lincoln and Lloyd Ralfs. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Riedesel were vocalists. Mrs. Riedesel was organist. The Frick Funeral home was in charge.

Mrs. Hansen died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. David Dey, Davenport, May 21, following a long illness.

The daughter of John and Alvena Laschansky, she was born at Sunbury, Aug. 25, 1906. She was married to John M. Hansen at Davenport, Nov. 8, 1930. She spent her life in the Durant and Bennett areas and was a member of the Durant Royal Neighbors and Peace Church of Christ United.

She is survived by her husband, 2 daughters, Mrs. David (Lavonne) Dey, Davenport and Mrs. Larry (Joleen) Twachtmann, Marion, 7 grandchildren and 3 brothers, Ralph, Wilton and Leo and Harvey, Sunbury.
