Last rites for William Lynch, 65, Cedar Valley, were held at St. Bernadette's Catholic church, West Branch, May 14 with burial in St. Joseph's cemetery, Cedar Valley.

Mr. Lynch died at Veterans hospital, Knoxville, May 10, following a short illness.

The son of Timothy and Margaret Cahill Lynch, he was born at Cedar Valley, July 25, 1919. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of St. Bernadette's church.

He is survived by sisters, Mrs. William (Lucille) Edgerton, West Branch; Mrs. Marvin (Lorraine) Knipp, Fairfax; Mrs. Marvin (Maxine) McCalley, Cedar Rapids and Vera Lynch, Cedar Valley and 3 brothers, John and Maurice, Tipton and Desmond, Cedar Rapids.
