Funeral services for Fred Henry Luedeman, 68, retired Stanwood businessman, will be held at 10:30 a.m. today (April 24) at St. Paul's Lutheran church, Stanwood, with the Rev. DuWayne Kirkeide officiating. Burial will be in the Stanwood cemetery.

Pallbearers are Frosty Meyer, Jack Hanks, Greg Pritchard, Larry Dannell, Lester Meyer and Buell Jackson. Mrs. Kenneth Smith, Mrs. Hugo Hein and Mrs. Frederick Meyer are in charge of flowers. Emil Licht is organist and the men's choir will sing.

Mr. Luedeman died at St. Luke's hospital, Cedar Rapids, April 20. He had been in the hospital for 5 days.

The son of Jochim and Louise Budde Luedeman, he was born at Olin Dec. 24, 1906. He was married to Helma Feddersen at Harvey, Ill., July 12, 1934.

A resident of Stanwood since 1939 he was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the navy.

He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Larry (Renee) Hansen, Clarence; 5 sisters, Mrs. Anna Lehrman and Mrs. Ida Lehrman, Stanwood; Mrs. Karl Werricke, Carmichael, Calif.; Mrs. Marie Walberg, Lombard, Ill., and Mrs. Minni Bjork, Aurora, Ill., and 3 brothers, Henry, Weaver; Louie, Stanwood and Carl, Cedar Rapids. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers.
