Last rites for Mrs. James (Carolyn) Eiler, 24, were held at the First United Methodist church, April 11 with the Rev. Mark Laaser and Dr. Glenn Parrott officiating. Burial was in Mount View Park cemetery, Boulder, Colo., April 12, where graveside services were held.

Pallbearers were Rex Preuss, Tim Burke, Gordon Farrington, Ray Linder, Doulgas Jackson, Delbert Coppess. Mrs. Doulgas Jackson, Mrs. Clifford Crist and Mrs. Wayne Brown here vocalists. Mrs. Kenneth Gould was organist.

Mrs. Eiler was killed in a car-truck crash on Highway 38 north of Tipton April 9.

The daughter of Robert and Ruth Englund Jones, she was born at Boulder, Colo., March 9, 1951 and graduated from the Boulder schools. She attended the University of Colorado at Boulder for a year and graduated from Iowa State university in 1973.

She was married to James Willard Eiler at Boulder, Colo., May 31, 1973. She had been a teacher of math in the Tipton high school since the start of the 1974 school year. The Eilers had lived near Stanwood for 15 months.

She was a member of Phi Kappi Phi and Kappa Delta Pi at Iowa State University.

She is survived by her husband, her parents, 2 sisters, Margi Jones, Madison, Wis. and Sue Jones, Boulder, Colo.; a brother Stan, Boulder and her maternal grandmother, Mrs. C. V. Englund, Boulder.
