Kathryn L. Zearing, 74, a former resident of Mechanicsville, died at her home in Lansing, Mich., March 5. Services were held at Lansing.

She was born in Mechanicsville Jan. 15, 1910 and attended the Mechanicsville school. She was a telephone operator in Mechanicsville before moving to Lansing 43 years ago.

She is survived by a sister, Berta Zearing, Lansing and 2 brothers, William, Mechanicsville and V. C. (Jim), Anaheim, Calif.
