Funeral services for Anna C. Schroeder, 92, a resident of Tipton until 13 years ago, were held at the Dye Funeral home, April 7, with the Rev. Glenn Parrott officiating. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Pallbearers were Bill L. Connaughy, Roy L. McGinnis, Harold Wick, Kenneth Schroeder, Lloyd Kallenberger and Jay Nebergall. Ralph DeReus was vocalist and Mrs. Kenneth Gould organist.

Mrs. Schroeder died at Mercy hospital, Davenport, April 4.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gundelach, she was born in Germany, Feb. 3, 1883, and was educated in Germany. She came to the United States when she was 16. She was married to Christian Henry Schroeder in Rock Island, Ill., in 1907. He died in 1950.

Mrs. Schroeder spent most of her life in the Tipton area, moving to Davenport in 1961. She was a member of the Methodist church, having been a Lutheran in her early years.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Mrs. Roy B. (Martha) McGinnis, Mrs. Louis V. (Nora) Rochholz and Mrs. Billy L. (Dolores) Connaughy, all of Davenport, 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a son.
