Funeral services for Della May Tevis, 83, will be held at the Sheets and Son funeral home at 1:30 p.m. today (April 6) with burial in the Woodbridge cemetery, Buchanan. Miss Tevis was found dead in her apartment Tuesday.

She is survived by 3 nephews, Roy and George, Tipton and Clarence, Bettendorf.

Last rites for Della May Tevis, 83, were held at the Sheets and Son funeral home April 3 with the Rev. O. J. Jorgensen officiating. Burial was in the Woodbridge cemetery at Buchanan.

Pallbearers were Roy, George and Clarence Tevis, Paul Osborn, Everett Miller and Russell Anderson.

Miss Tevis was found dead in her apartment March 30. Death was due to a heart attack.

The daughter of William R. and Mary Ann Stout Tevis, she was born near Buchanan March 1, 1892 and was educated in the rural school of Cedar county.

She was a lifelong resident of the Cedar county area and worked as a housekeeper.

She is survived by 3 nephews, George and Roy Tevis, Tipton and Clarence Tevis, Bettendorf.
