Funeral services for Mrs. Eva Mae Biggs, 79, were held at the Sheets and Son funeral home, March 22, with the Rev. Mark Fitzlaff officiating. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery. Mrs. Mark Fitzlaff and Mrs. Ronald Stutzel were vocalists. Mrs. Kenneth Gould was organist.

Pallbearers were grandsons Gregory Allan, Gary Lou and Rodney Leo Britcher and Larry, Jerry and Lonnie Glick.

Mrs. Biggs died at a West Branch nursing home, March 20 following a short illness.

The daughter of Jacob and Ida Christy Koblentz, she was born at Pomeroy, Ohio, April 7, 1895 and was educated in the rural schools of Cedar county. She was married to Benjamin H. Biggs at South Bethel church, Dec. 28, 1915.

She had been a resident of Tipton for 72 years.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Alex (Mary) Murray, Tipton and Mrs. Richard (Charis) Britcher, Cedar Rapids, 2 sons, Kenneth, Tipton and Burdette, Des Moines; 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, Mrs. Ruby Schilling and Mrs. Mabel Fulwider, both of Tipton and a brother, Purl Koblentz, Pomeroy, Ohio.
