Funeral services for James J. Murrison, 69, East Moline, Ill., brother of Howard Murrison, Tipton, were held at Wilton Jan. 29 with burial in Oakdale cemetery.

Mr. Murrison died at Moline Lutheran hospital Jan. 27.

The son of Ernest and Bertha Bacon Murrison, he was born at Wilton May 12, 1905. He was married to Edna Giebelstein at Cedar Rapids Nov. 1, 1938.

Mr. Murrison had been a shipping clerk for John Deere, East Moline, for 27 years. He was a member of the Methodist church.

He is survived by his wife, a son, Richard, East Moline; 3 brothers, George, Sun City, Ariz.; Howard, Tipton and Robert, Cedar Rapids and 3 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and a grandchild.
