Last rites for Victor Hubler, 88, were held at the Sheets and Son funeral home Jan. 15 with the Rev. Fred Van Tatenhove officiating. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Pallbearers were Roger, Richard, Dean, Alan, Darrell and Randy Hubler.

Mr. Hubler died at the Cedar County Care center Jan. 12.

The son of William U. and Sarah Reichert Hubler, he was born near Mechanicsville Feb. 13, 1886 and was educated in the rural schools of Cedar county.
A retired farm laborer, he had lived at the care center for 25 years.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 6 sisters.
