Funeral services for Mrs. Elsie L. Paist, 61, were held at United Methodist church, Stanwood, Dec. 28 with the Rev. Michael Thomson officiating. Burial was in the Stanwood cemetery.

Pallbearers were Keith Paulsen, John Rouse, Larry, Terry and Garry Worby and Michael Flockhart. Mrs. Don Coppess and Mrs. Keith Paulsen were in charge of flowers. Mrs. Wayne Brown was organist.

Mrs. Paist died at the Clarence Nursing home Dec. 26.

Elsie Brunson was born at Murdo, S.D., Nov. 8, 1913 and was married to Earl Paist in Minnesota Aug. 12, 1936.

She is survived by 4 daughters, Mrs. Keith (Jeraldine) Flockhart and Mrs. Darrell (Carole) Worby, both of Stanwood; Mrs. Gene (Connie) Brown, Mechanicsville and Mrs. Ivan (Bonnie) Hasselbusch, Waterloo, Belgium; 13 grandchildren, a great-grandchild and a brother and 5 sisters.
