Last rites for Daniel Leon Becker, 51, Phoenix, Ariz. were held at the Morgan Funeral home, Mt. Vernon, Nov. 29, with the Rev. Thomas Stewart officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Mechanicsville. Military services were by the Busch Dennis post of the American Legion, Mechanicsville.

Pallbearers were Marlin, Edward and Terry Flynn, James Rife, Leon Hovel and Francis Brown.

Mr. Becker died suddenly while at work as a roofer in Phoenix Nov. 23.

He was born at Deer Creek, Minn. Aug. 26, 1923 and lived most of his life in the Mechanicsville, Stanwood, Marion area. He was married to Ramona Benson at Mechanicsville in 1946. He was working with his son-in-law Larry Hites in Phoenix at the time of his death.

He is survived by 3 daughters, Mrs. Larry (Sandra) Hites, Phoenix; Mrs. Linda McCord, Solon and Debra Becker, Wilton; 2 sisters, Mrs. Anna Comer and Mrs. Ruth Flynn, both of Mechanicsville; 3 brothers, Dale, Geneseo, Ill.; Marion and Elwood, Stanwood and 3 grandchildren.
