Funeral services for Margaret A. Petersen, 61, a resident of the Tipton area for more than 3 years, were held at Chicago, Ill., Sept. 28 with burial in a Chicago cemetery. Pallbearers were Howard and Donald Riegler, Ralph and Frank Petersen, Thomas Jurek and Russell Timeo.

Mrs. Petersen died at Mercy hospital Sept. 25 following a short illness.

The daughter of Frank J. and Lucy V. Stolinski Gannon, she was born at Chicago Jan. 12, 1913 and was educated in the public schools of Chicago. She was married to Harry G. Petersen Jan. 20, 1934 and lived in Chicago until 1971 when she moved to the rural Tipton area.

She was a member of the North Austin Lutheran church.

She is survived by her husband; 2 daughters, Mrs. Harold (Ardala) Monson, St. Paul, Minn., and Mrs. Maynard (Nancy) Helmold, Tipton; 9 grandchildren; a sister, Josphine Gannon, Cleveland, Ohio and 2 brothers, Bernad and Martin Gannon, Valparaiso, Ind.
