Funeral services for Fritz Pasvogel, 79, were held at Wilton, Sept. 6, with the Rev. Garth Baker officiating. Burial was in Oakdale cemetery.

Mr. Pasvogel died at Mercy hospital, Iowa City, Sept. 3, following a short illness.

The son of Frederick and Emma Iben Pasvogel, he was born at Davenport Jan. 6, 1895. He was married to Leda Wulff at Davenport, Oct. 9, 1918. A retired farmer, he was a member of Zion Lutheran church at Wilton.

He is survived by his wife, a son, Kenneth, Tipton; a daughter, Eleanor, Wilton; a sister, Mrs. Ella Cromer, Durant and 2 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother.
