Funeral services for Willis (Pat) McGuire, 68, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 12, at the Methodist church in Stanwood with the Rev. Mike Thompson officiating. Interment will be in the Stanwood cemetery.

Pallbearers will be James Lyle, James Koering, Dr. Edward Speer, Harlan Miles, Glen Zerbe and Clifford Wenndt.

Mr. McGuire died at his home Monday morning, Sept. 9. He was born Sept. 30, 1905 at Martelle, the son of Tullos and Minnie Jackson. He married Ethel Gardner Nov. 15, 1926 at Olin.

Mr. McGuire was a retired Iowa State Highway Commission employee. He was a member of Fremont Lodge 616, the Stanwood Fire Department and the Hiawatha Order of the Eastern Star, Olin.

Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Mrs. William (Shirley) McKeel, Michigan; 3 sons, Don of Cedar Rapids, Larry of Hiawatha, and Dale of Layton, Mich.; 4 brothers, Arthur and Louis of Olin, Clifford of Morley and Milton, address unknown; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
