Funeral services for Ella Elizabeth Burroughs, 88, retired linotype operator, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13 at the Sheets and Son funeral home. Visitation will start at 9 a.m. Sept. 12. The Rev. Donald E. Wooge will be in charge of services. Burial will be in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Rebekah services will be conducted by the Helping Hand Rebekah lodge 517, Tipton at the funeral home following the funeral service.

Miss Burroughs died at Mercy hospital, Cedar Rapids, at 2 a.m. Sept. 10 following a heart attack. She had lived at Ames, but spent the past 4 months at the Clarence Nursing home. She was a linotype operator for the Tipton Advertiser.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Ray Potter, Tipton and several nieces and nephews.
