Funeral services for Beryl O. Werling, 55, 1306 Ellis Boulevard NW, Cedar Rapids, were held at Trinity Lutheran church, Cedar Rapids, April 22 with the Rev. Richard Thompson officiating. Burial was in Inland cemetery, Bennett.

Born at Rudd Aug. 11, 1918, he had lived in Cedar county before moving to Cedar Rapids about 10 years ago. He was married to Marie Helmold at Bennett Feb. 18, 1942. Mr. Werling had been an employee of Wilson and Company for 11 years before illness forced his retirement. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran church, Cedar Rapids.

He is survived by his wife, 2 sons, Marlon Edward, Cedar Rapids and Kenneth Rae, Alburnett; 7 grandchildren; 4 brothers, Donald, Des Moines; Maruice (Ted), Davenport; Alvin, Wilton and Paul, Cedar Rapids and a sister, Mrs. Darlene Rice, Tipton.
