Last rites for Jeanna E. Beadle, former principal at Clarence, were held at Dallas, Texas, April 25 with graveside service in Cedar Rapids April 27 with the Rev. Donald E. Kehrli officiating.

Miss Beadle died in Dallas at the home of a niece.

Born in Dubuque Dec. 22, 1882, she was a 1905 graduate of Cornell college. She taught for 10 years in the Mt. Vernon schools and 3 years in a mission school at Pueble, Mexico. She became principal at Clarence in 1919, serving until 1946.

She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star at Clarence.
