Final rites for Mrs. Elizabeth Dorothy Beesecker, 84, will be held at United Church of Christ at 2 p.m. Feb. 16 with the Rev. E. H. Lauer officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove cemetery, LaCrosse, Wis.

Mrs. Beesecker died at Cedar Manor Feb. 9 following a long illness.

The daughter of Albert and Elizabeth Sewoski, she was born at LaCrosse, Wis. Nov. 5, 1889. She spent her life in the LaCrosse area until coming to Tipton in 1964. She retired from the LaCrosse County Detention home in 1955 after serving as matron for 20 years.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Hallett J. (Dorothy) Harris, Tipton; 2 grandchildren, Mrs. Joe E. van Rossem, Holland, Mich. and Dr. Hallet J. Harris, Green Bay, Wis.; 6 great-grandchildren, Christopher van Rossem, Ann Arbor, Mich. and Mark, James Harris and Elizabeth van Rossem, Holland, Mich. and Hallett J. Harris III and Heather Lee Harris, Green Bay, Wis.; a sister, Mrs. Joseph Bethel, South Milwaukee, Wis. and a brother, Theodore Witharm, Lower Lake, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1943.
