Jack H. Sturdy, 46, Beverly Shores, Ind., former Tipton resident, died Feb. 6 from injuries received in a truck-train accident Jan. 28. Funeral services were held at Michigan City, Ind., Feb. 8.

He was born Nov. 5, 1928 and graduated from Tipton high school. He had been employed by Mid-West Steel, Portage, Ind. for 14 years. He was married to Marion Skembare of Chicago, Ill. April 17, 1958.

He is survived by his wife, 2 daughters, Karen, 21 and Roxanne, 10; a son, Jack, 24; a sister, Mrs. Alberta Moffitt, LeClaire and 2 brothers, Dick and Frank, Tipton.
