Funeral services for Mrs. Clara H. Weih, 87, Bennett, were held at the Sheets and Son funeral home Feb. 9 with the Rev. Dennis Lamont officiating. Burial was in the Durant cemetery. Mrs. Everett Von Muenster was vocalist and Mrs. Max Phelps organist.

Pallbearers were Don and Leo Weih, Leo Meyer, William Hamann, Keith Cudmore and Henry Hansen.

Mrs. Weih died at Cedar Manor Feb. 6, following an extended illness.

The daughter of William and Gertrude Mass Flenker, she was born near Dixon June 2, 1886 and was educated in the rural schools of Scott county. She was married to Henry J. Weih at Dixon, Feb. 22, 1911.

A lifelong resident of the Bennett area, she was a member of the Royal Neighbors at Sunbury.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Henrietta) Kugler, Idaho Falls, Idaho; a son, Clarence, Davenport; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Nola Weih, Bennett; 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mrs. Agnes Friederich and Mrs. Melanie Hamann, both of Davenport; 3 brothers, Albert and Leroy Flenker, Davenport and Roland Flenker, DeWitt.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1973, a son, 2 sisters and a brother.

The family has requested the memorial contributions be made to the Diabetic Research foundation.
