Funeral services for Earl Elmer Beinke, 56, were held at Wilton Jan. 12 with burial in the Oakdale cemetery. Mr. Beinke died at University hospitals, Iowa City, Jan. 9, following an extended illness.

The son of Henry and Elizabeth Jensen Beinke, he was born in Cedar county Aug. 19, 1917, and was married to Beverly Wilson at Iowa City, July 13, 1946.

He was of the Presbyterian faith and was a member of the Wilton American Legion. He served in the Army Air Force during World War II and was a machine operator at the Farmall plant for 27 years.

Surviving are his wife; 4 sons, Steven E., Del Rio, Texas; Douglas R., Dennis D., and Earl T., all of Wilton; a daughter, Cindy L., Washington; 3 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Clarence and Harlan, both of Wilton; and six sisters, Mrs. Lillie Maurer, Mrs. Fred (Lullu) Maurer, Mrs. Clarinda Kress, Mrs. Ernest (Erna) Hansen and Mrs. Donald (Marvella) Holmes, all of Wilton, and Mrs. Laverna Kress, Clarence.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
