Funeral services for Robert Lee Wilkerson, 89, were held this afternoon at the Springdale United Methodist church, Oct. 18 with the Rev. Max E. Paige officiating. Mrs. Rhoda Barnhart was organist.

Pallbearers were Ted Worrall, Donald Worrall, Mark Nash, Jr., Elmer Maxson, Herman Paulson and Ralph Campbell. Interment was at the Pee Dee cemetery.

Mr. Wilkerson died Oct. 16 at the Cedar Manor Nursing home, Tipton.

Mr. Wilkerson was born June 26, 1884 in Cedar county, the son of Charles Franklin and Louisa Wyant Wilkerson. He farmed all his life in Cedar county.

Surviving are 2 sons, LaMar, Cheynne, Wyo. and Marvin, West Branch; one daughter, Mrs. Ray (Louise) Clemmens, rural Atalissa; a brother, Roy, Nichols; and a sister, Mrs. Myrtle Kester, Tipton; 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
