Funeral services for Floyd Wagner, former Cedar county resident, were held at Coon Rapids, Oct. 4 with burial in the orange township cemetery near Coon Rapids. Mr. Wagner died Oct. 1 at St. Anthony Regional hospital where he had been admitted Sept. 30.

The son of William and Margaret Gains Wagner, he was born in Cedar county Sept. 3, 1902. He moved to the Coon Rapids area in 1948 after farming in the Tipton area. He retired from farming in 1966.

He is survived by his wife, Dollye, 4 children, Mrs. Florence Pals, Manchester; James, Salem, Ark.; William, Coon Rapids and Wallace, Lennox, S.D.; 13 grandchildren, a brother and 3 sisters, Ernest Wagner, Mrs. Leona Thurston, Mrs. Verno Winekauf and Mrs. Eunice Wiskus, all of Tipton.

He was preceded in death by 2 infant sons.
