Funeral services for Mrs. Carrie E. Munger, 89, were held at West Branch Sept. 12 with burial in the West Branch cemetery. Mrs. Munger died at Cedar Manor Sept. 9, following a long illness.

The daughter of Charles E. and Deborah Leech Smith, she was born in Johnson county Dec. 6, 1884.

She married Dr. Milo W. Munger, at West Branch, Dec. 24, 1907.

The couple lived in Mt. Pleasant a number of years, where Dr. Munger practiced dentistry. He preceded his wife in death.

Mrs. Munger was a member of the West Branch United Methodist church, and a 50-year member of Juanita Chapter OES.

Surviving are 2 sons, Irwin D., Mt. Pleasant, and Corliss R., Sioux Falls, S.D.; and a daughter, Mrs. Robert (June) Sharp, Herington, Kan.
