Funeral services for Floyd J. Larsen, 49, were held at the Bethany Lutheran church, West Branch, Aug. 17. Mr. Larsen died in Fort Worth, Texas Aug. 13 following heart surgery.

Officiating at the service was the Rev. Ronald Bessert. Interment was at the West Branch cemetery. Mr. Larsen was born March 3, 1924 in West Branch, a son of Einer and Renea Johnson Larsen. He married Joyce Judd in 1947 in Clinton. He was a member of the Lutheran church and was employed as a credit manager in a Fort Worth department store.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Larry, at home; one sister, Mrs. John (Sylvia) Morrin, Williamsburg; and his parents, West Branch.

He was preceded in death by a daughter and a sister.
