Last rites for Albert Conrad, 81, were held at Peace Church of Christ United Aug. 18 with the Rev. Calvin Schumacher in charge. Burial was in Inland cemetery.

Pallbearers were William Boll, Harold Wentzel, Lloyd Thien, Victor Gaul, Ronald Luikart and Fred Edler. Mrs. Milo Carroll and Gertrude Kruse were in charge of flowers. Mrs. Everett Von Muenster was vocalist and Doris Jeppe organist.

Mr. Conrad died at his home in Tipton Aug. 15 following a brief illness.

The son of Diedrich and Marie Holle Conrad, he was born near Clarence March 12, 1892 and was educated in the schools of rural Cedar county. He was married to Emma Geadelman at Bennett Dec. 22, 1916.

He spent his life in the Bennett-Tipton area where he farmed before retiring to Tipton. He was a member of Peace church, Bennett.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Leora Conrad, Tipton and Mrs. Edwin (Bernice) Stolte, Clarence; 4 grandsons and a brother, Richard, Bennett. He was preceded in death by his wife and a brother.
