A motorcycle-car collision at 6:25 p.m. Sunday, July 1 near the Interstate 80 Wilton interchange resulted in the fatal injury of Ricky Wayne Duffe, 20, Wilton.

Duffe was pronounced dead on arrival at Mercy hospital, Davenport, according to the Cedar county sheriff's department.

Deputies said a car driven by Christine S. Aimone, 21, Wheaton, Ill., came off I-80 at the Wilton interchange and was entering highway 38 leading south to Wilton. Duffe was traveling north on his motorcycle and struck the left side of the car, deputies said.

Miss Aimone underwent emergency treatment at University hospitals, Iowa City, Sunday night.

Ricky's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Allan W. Duffe, Wilton, were vacationing at the Wisconsin Dells when notified of the accident.

Ricky Duffe was born May 12, 1953, in March Field, Calif. A 1972 graduate of Wilton high school, he was employed as a machine operator at Bandag. He was a member of United Methodist church.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, July 5 at the United Methodist church, Wilton, with Larry G. Willey officiating. Burial will be in Oakdale cemetery, Wilton.

Besides his parents, he is survived by a sister, Joy Lynn, a brother Jeffrey Allan, paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Duffe, Wilton, and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Gyessens, Moline, Ill.
