Funeral services for Mrs. Rudolph (Estella) Schiele, 84, Downey, were held at West Liberty March 15 with the Rev. Max Paige officiating. Burial was in the Downey cemetery.

Mrs. Schiele died at a Muscatine nursing home March 13 where she had lived for 2 years.

The daughter of Grant and Rosie Daut Carl, she was born near Bennett Oct. 3, 1888 and was married to Rudolph Schiele at Tipton Feb. 18, 1908.

She is survived by her husband; a son, Lysle, West Branch; 2 daughters, Mrs. Beryl Ausing, Newburg, Md. and Mrs. Lee (Bernice) Blum, Sun City, Ariz.; 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
