Graveside services for the Rev. Clement D. Loehr, Ames, retired United Presbyterian minister, were held at the Stanwood cemetery Aug. 22.

The son of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Loehr, he was born at Lone Tree in 1884. A graduate of the University of Iowa, he graduated from the Reformed Seminary, Lancaster, Penn. in 1912. The Rev. Loehr served United Presbyterian charges in Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois and Ohio. He retired at Essex in 1962.

December 1910 he was married to Grace Margaret Davidson, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Davidson, Stanwood.

He was preceded in death by his wife in October, 1964. She is also buried in the Stanwood cemetery.

Surviving are 4 daughters; 3 sons; 33 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, 2 in Iowa and one in Tucson, Ariz.

The Charles Davidson family lived on the farm where the Howard Coppess family now live. Mrs. Loehr was an instructor in the Stanwood high school previous to her marriage.
