MECHANICSVILLE - Funeral services for Glen A. Woods, 77, were held April 15 at 2 p.m. in the Horner Funeral home with the Rev. William Wills officiating. Mrs. Floyd Siver was soloist accompanied by Mrs. E. H. Littig.

Mr. Woods was found dead in the rear of his home early April 13. Death was attributed to natural causes. He was born Oct. 26, 1892, the son of Charles E. and Bessie Shank Woods. He attended the rural schools and a business college in Cedar Rapids.

He was married to Jane Gilbreath on Jan.8, 1915. They were the parents of 3 daughters, all died in infancy. She died on Nov. 18, 1921. He was married to Lois Renolds Siple on Dec. 6, 1922. Their only child, Wallace, died at birth. He farmed most of his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers Dale and Frank.

He is survived by his wife, Lois, 2 brothers, Weldon Woods, Mechanicsville and Claire Woods, Amarillo, Tex., a sister, Ruth McCaleb, Carlisle, Penn., and several nieces and nephews.

Pierre Ferguson, Claire Stabenow, Leroy Wendt, Robert Boots, James Miller and Frank Klinkkammer were pallbearers. Burial in Masonic cemetery, Tipton.
