Last rites for Mrs. Johannah Dickinson, 97, were held at the Rochester United Methodist church March 28, with burial in the Tipton Masonic cemetery. The Rev. James Lusher and Gordan Smith officiated. The Dye Funeral home was in charge.

Pallbearers were Lance, Marvin and Roscoe Schilling, Lester Chapman, Lester (Jim) Walker and Cleo Pedersen. Mrs. Clare Nebergall and Mrs. Dwain Ford were vocalists and Mrs. Michael Heinrick, organist. Mrs. John Sharpless and Mrs. Hiram Long were in charge of flowers.

Mrs. Dickinson died at Cedar Manor March 26 where she had lived since November. Mrs. Dickinson was a former West Liberty resident.

Born Nov. 6, 1872, in Germany, she was a daughter of Henry and Hannah Schilling. She married Sheldon Dickinson Feb. 24, 1894 in Rochester Township. Mrs. Dickinson was a member of the Rochester Methodist church; the WSCS of the church and a long time Sunday school teacher.

Survivors are 4 sons, Howard L., West Liberty; Lloyd H. and Herbert, both of Muscatine and John I., Tipton; a brother, William Schilling, Clarence; 10 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 3 great-greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, a great-grandson, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
