Final rites for Mrs. Blanche E. Cowgill, 77, were held at West Branch March 27 with the Rev. Roger Tappmeyer officiating. Burial was in the West Branch cemetery.

Mrs. Cowgill died at a Wilton Junction nursing home March 24 where she had been a patient for 14 years.

Mrs. Cowgill was born July 24, 1892, at West Branch, daughter of William and Louise Lehman Brown. She was married to Ralph Cowgill Jan 7, 1914, at West Branch. He died in 1935.

She was a charter member of the Sunshine club at West Branch.

Surviving are a brother, Glenn Brown of West Branch, and several nieces and nephews.
