Edward (Ted) Gibson, 69, died at his home in Grand Mound. Funeral services were held March 7 with burial in Grand Mound. The son of Ernest and Nell Gibson, he was born in Stanwood in June, 1900. His wife was the former Dorothy Kimbell. He is survived by his widow, a brother, Tom and a sister, Mrs. Meryl Strauser; 2 uncles, John Swift, Stanwood and Glenn, Cedar Rapids. Don Hart is a cousin. Mr. and Mrs. John Swift, Don Hart, and Glenn Swift of Cedar Rapids attended funeral services.
