Funeral services for Mrs. Howard Hines, 74, Stanwood, who died at Mercy hospital, Iowa City, after an extended illness, were June 10 at the Sheets and Son Funeral home, Tipton. Burial was at Rose Hill cemetery, Mechanicsville. The Rev. Ralph Schenck officiated, with Mrs. LeRoy Wendt vocalist and Mrs. Arnold Swan organist.

Pallbearers were Everett Miller, Larry Krueger, Leonard Bromell, Richard Wagaman, Elmer Mitchell and Roy Tevis. Mrs. Bromell and Mrs. Miller were in charge of flowers.

Daughter of Edward and Cora Wagaman Ehresman, the former Ina M. Ehresman was born at Cedar Bluff June 12, 1895. She was married to Mr. Hines at Tipton Feb. 18, 1920. She had lived in Stanwood the past 16 years.

Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Dorothy Hines, Stanwood; 3 sons, Dale, Clarence; Paul and Roger, both of Stanwood; a sister, Mrs. Forest (Lola) Shrope, Mechanicsville and 6 grandchildren.
