Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Buchanan, 91, were held in Mechanicsville Feb. 12 with the Rev. William Wills officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery. Mrs. Buchanan died Feb. 10 in a Muscatine nursing home.

She was born June 23, 1878. She is survived by a granddaughter, Mrs. Ronald McMurren; a son-in-law, John Story of Coralville and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son and a daughter.

Pallbearers were Ralph Gaul, Carl Kern, Elwood Rhoads, Harry Jackson, J. C. Butler and Howard Rhoads.
