Last rites for Mrs. William (Dora Mae) Wade, 72, were held at the Sheets and Son funeral home Feb. 14 with burial in the Tipton Masonic cemetery. The Rev. Walter Martin and the Rev. Eugene Miller officiated. George Thordsen was vocalist and Mrs. Irma Crawford was organist.

Pallbearers were Charles and George Stuckey, Harland Garlick, Herbert Walter, Lynn Phelps and Gary Schlueter. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Brennan and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Werling were in charge of flowers.

Mrs. Wade died at Mercy hospital, Iowa City Feb. 11, following a short illness.

The daughter of Peter and Clara M. Eishinger Eiselstein, she was born at Chester, Ohio, March 1, 1897 and was educated in the rural schools of Cedar county.

She was married to William L. Wade Aug. 27, 1916 and had been a resident of the Tipton area for 55 years. She had lived in Tipton since 1930.

She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of which she was a Gold Star Mother, the Women's Relief Corps and the Methodist church.

She is survived by 2 sons, Paul, Coralville and William Jr., Tipton; 3 daughters, Louise Wade, Tipton; Mrs. Marjorie Ralston, Moline, Ill and Mrs. Winifred Boettcher, Davenport; 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Frank Eiselstein, Muscatine; Earl Eiselstein, Lowden and Richard Eiselstein, Olin and 2 sisters, Mrs. Grace Gerber, Tipton and Mrs. Walter (Margaret) Martin, Tama.

She was preceded in death by her husband; 2 sisters and a son.
