Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Stiff, 86, a former Tipton resident, were held at Mediapolis Feb. 10 with burial at Rochester. Mrs. Stiff died in a Burlington hospital Feb. 8.

Clara Buckman, daughter of Charles and Flora Collison Buckman was born Sept. 29, 1883 and was married to Peter C. Stiff Aug. 1, 1907 at Tipton. She had lived in Mediapolis for several years.

She is survived by 3 brothers, Arthur, Conesville, Elmer, Clinton and George Buckman, Buffalo, Ill.; 2 sisters, Mrs. Charles Neinaber, Fullerton, Calif. and Mrs. Vance Dallege, Tipton. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1937 and by 2 brothers.
