Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Witmer, 74, were held at the Moscow Methodist church Feb. 11 with the Rev. I. G. Wilkins officiating. Burial was in the Healy cemetery at Moscow.

Mrs. Witmer died at St. Luke's hospital, Davenport, Feb. 7, following an illness of 7 months.

Mary Elizabeth Kuehl was born May 28, 1895 in Cedar county, daughter of John and Christiana Kuehl. She married John H. Witmer, Jan. 15, 1931 at Muscatine. She was a member of the Moscow Methodist church.

Survivors are a son, John J., of route 1, Moscow; a brother, Gus Kuehl, Wilton and a sister, Mrs. Lizzie Feese, Wilton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
