Funeral services for Mrs. Bodil Marie Steffens, 80, Wilton, were held at Wilton Feb. 10 with the Rev. Garth Baker officiating. Burial was in the Oakdale cemetery, Wilton.

Mrs. Steffens died at 7 a.m. Feb. 8 at the Hershey Convalescent hospital in Muscatine, after a long illness.

The daughter of Peter L. and Anna Have Hansen, she was born Dec. 9, 1889 in Mors, Denmark. In January, 1932 she married Carl P. Steffens in Wilton. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran church in Wilton and had resided here 64 years.

Surviving are a step-son, Elmer, of Wilton; 3 step-daughters, Mrs. Lester (Mildred) Hatfield, Cordova, Ill.; Mrs. Esther McAllister, Princeton; and Mrs. S. T. (Norma) Soppeland, Ft. Dodge; a brother, Martin Hansen, Wilton; a sister, Mrs. Kirsten Ovesen, Wilton; and 13 grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husband, 4 brothers, 2 sisters and one step-daughter.
