Last rites for Mrs. F. Vern Pitman, 35, a native of Wilton, were held in Holy Cross Lutheran church, Davenport, Jan. 22, with burial in Overman cemetery at Atalissa. Mrs. Pitman died Jan. 20 following a brief illness.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Weaver, she was born at Wilton and attended the Tipton school until her junior year. She was married to F. Vern Pittman Nov. 8, 1952.

She is survived by her husband, 5 daughters, Sandra, Cindy, Laurie, Lisa Mae and Amy Rose; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Weaver, Atalissa; a sister, Mrs. Eldon Sawyer, Littleton, Colo. and 5 brothers, Kenneth, Clarence, and Robert, Herbert, Raymond and Jim, all of Davenport
