Mrs. Kate Kahler, 82, Wilton, formerly of Durant, died in the Wilton Nursing home.

Services will be 2:30 p.m. today (Thursday) in the Runge Chapel, Davenport. Burial will be in Durant cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Gloria Dei Lutheran church, Durant.

Kate Puck was married to Herman Kahler Dec. 30, 1908, in Davenport. He died in 1953.

Mrs. Kahler had lived in Durant until 1944, when she moved to rural Davenport.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Alice Kahler, Wilton and Mrs. F. L. (Ruth) McHone, Ames; 2 sons, Roy, rural Durant, and Ralph, Davenport; 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; a sister, Agnes Puck, and a brother, Arnold Puck, Maywood, Ill.
