Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 6 in the Morgan Funeral home, Lisbon, for Mrs. Pearl Albaugh Gibbons, 83. The Rev. William Kunsch officiated at the service. Allen Schluetter, Harley Robertson, John Koppenhaver, Claude Ferguson, Harold Owens and David Ferguson were pallbearers. Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery. Mrs. Gibbons died at her home is Lisbon following a lingering illness.

Pearl Nolan Gibbons, the daughter of Lorenzo and Louise Shrope Albaugh, was born Oct. 7, 1886, south of Mechanicsville. She was educated in the country schools and was married to John Nolan Nov. 16, 1909. He died in 1940 and she married Russell Gibbons Oct. 6, 1949. He preceded her in death April 30, 1965. She was a member of St. John's Catholic church, Lisbon.

Mrs. Gibbons is survived by a brother, Ralph Albaugh, Mechanicsville, a sister-in-law, Mrs. Rose Albaugh, Stanwood and several nieces and nephews.
