Funeral services for Herbert Stoltenberg, 80, will be held at 1:30 p.m. today (Dec. 9) at the Sheets and Son Funeral home. Burial will be in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Gordon Smith will officiate. Pallbearers will be Frank Walton, Wilson Howe, Maurice Walton, Harry Wehde Sr., Thomas Brennan and Don Armstrong Sr.

Mr. Stoltenberg died at Mercy hospital, Iowa City, Dec. 6.

He was born Sept. 20, 1889 near Maysville and was a resident of the Tipton area since 1893. A veteran of World War I, he served overseas in France. He had been associated with his brother, Louis, in farming.

He is survived by a sister, Alice Stoltenberg, Tipton and 2 brothers, Louis, Tipton and Arnold, Williamsburg, N. M.
