Funeral services for Carl Kintzel, 74, a native of Clarence, were held at West Burlington Oct. 14, with burial in Memorial Park cemetery there. Mr. Kintzel died Oct. 11 at Memorial hospital in Burlington.

Born at Clarence March 21, 1895 he was married to Ruth Fisher April 18, 1942, at Eldon, Mo. He was a World War I veteran and a member of the Methodist church.

He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Albert Butts, Weaver; a brother, Ernest, Tipton and a sister, Mrs. Charles Rix, Storm Lake.

Those attending the services included Ernest Kintzel, Tipton; Mrs. Emma Kintzel, Mr. and Mrs. Laverne Kintzel, Irvin Kintzel, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Kleppe, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kintzel, all of Clarence; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Schluter and Mrs. Norma Reinking, Lowden; Art Kintzel, Stanwood; Mrs. Bernard Ciha, Lisbon and Mr. and Mrs. Val De Wald, Cedar Rapids.
