Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie McVay, 85, were held at St. Paul's Lutheran church, Stanwood, Oct. 15 with the Rev. R. H. Muhl officiating. Burial was in the Oakland cemetery, Monticello.

Mrs. McVay died Sunday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ralph Christiansen with whom she made her home the past 13 years.

Minnie Peters was born at Monticello March 11, 1884 and was married to Delbert E. McVay March 22, 1905 at Sand Springs. He preceded her in death.

Other survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Robert Barnd, Minneapolis, Minn.; a son Luverne, Clarence, 6 grandchildren and a great-grandson.
