Last rites for William Edmund Treichler, a native of Tipton, were held at Cedar Rapids Sept. 17. Mr. Treichler died at Veterans hospital, Iowa City, following a long illness.

He was born in Tipton Dec. 4, 1888 and was the son of Judge Treichler. He received a law degree and practiced law in Linn county. He had been a resident of Troy Mills since 1928.

He is survived by a son, William Jr., Vershire, Vt.; a daughter, Mrs. Ben Wolverton, Central City; a brother, A. H. Treichler, of California and 9 grandchildren.
