Last rites for Mrs. Otto Evers, 85, were held at the United Presbyterian church, Stanwood, Sept. 20, with burial in the Stanwood cemetery.

Mrs. Evers died at St. Luke's hospital, Cedar Rapids, Sept. 18.

The former Bertha Bixler was born in Clarence and was married to Otto Evers in 1905. He died in 1965.

She is survived by 4 daughters, Mrs. Caryl Chorlian, Port Washington, N.Y.; Mrs. Doris Dusch and Mrs. Bethany Mickey, both of San Diego, Calif., and Mrs. Verne E. Barnes, Monmouth, Ill.; a son, Dr. Lorance Evers, Bend, Ore., 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
